Adrienne’s work has been translated into many languages. She has worked for Macmillan Children’s Books, Oxford University Press, Hazar UK, Scholastic Children’s Books, Francis Lincoln Children’s Books UK, Ladybird, Readers Digest Children’s Books, and Bloomsbury Children’s Books amongst others. She has also worked for many years illustrating  freelance for the Irish Times, Business and Finance, Sunday Business Post, Irish Independent amongst others.

Adrienne has also lectures extensively on her subject in colleges and libraries around the country as well as DIT Visual Communication, NCAD Illustration Master Classes, Independent Colleges, Ballyfermot College of Higher Education workshops and lectures, and the National Gallery of Ireland Summer Lecture series.

Adrienne runs two year long courses:

Write and Illustrate a Picture Book.

Illustration Boot Camp.

Both restart September 2015.

After the birth of her son in 2004, Adrienne set up a ‘My Very Own Picture’ a children’s limited edition fine art company, supplying exclusive gift retailers, galleries, and Habitat Ireland, (however with the downturn a lot of these businesses no longer flourished.)
In 2006 Adrienne was shortlisted for the Bisto award for her picture book illustrations in ‘Fancy That’
In 2013 Adrienne exhibited new works at Culture Box, Temple Bar. Also in 2013, Adrienne was invited by CBI and Niamh Sharkey, Laureate na nÓg,  to participate in a major new international illustration tour, Pictiúr planned for this year where is will visit Vienna Children’s Books Festival, Bologna International Children’s Book Fair and The Irish Institute for Ireland in Leuven, Belguim.

Adrienne’s Literary agent for Picture Books is Polly Nolan of Greenhouse Literary in London

Adrienne is an active member of the Illustrators Ireland, Children’s Books Ireland,  IVARO and is also a Golden Colors Artist Educator.
